Old Fort has wondferful celebrations in the fall.
Their ongoing events are the Friday night jams and the current groundswell to build an actual fort in commemoration of the historical fort that probably was there a couple hundred years ago.
The Montreat News welcomes submissions for news from the Swannanoa Valley, including Montreat, Black Mountain, Old Fort and Swannanoa.
